Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Méo-Camuzet Frère et Soeurs Gevrey-Chambertin (90JG). John Gilman: " I really enjoyed the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin from Domaine Méo-Camuzet this year, as this is an archetypical synthesis of the village and the vintage. The wine is deep and nicely sappy on the nose, delivering a lovely blend of red and black cherries, chocolate, a touch of meatiness, woodsmoke, a fine base of soil tones and just a hint of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and very nicely structured, with a very good core of fruit, lovely focus and grip and impressive backend energy on the long and complex finish. This is a first class villages this year. 90+" (12/2018)
