Bid on this bottle of 1996 Domaine Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru "Butteaux" (92BH). Burghound: "Simply stunning aromas of minerals, green Chablis fruit and a lovely hint of fresh apples introduce racy, intense, backward, steely flavors of considerable depth and outstanding length. There are none of the advanced aromas that currently plague so many '96 Chablis and this is no where near ready. Drink it with food it you must but this requires, indeed deserves at least another 3 to 5 years of cellar time though it will last for another 15. A really beautiful effort." (10/2003)
