Bid on this bottle of 1992 Domaine François Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru "Chapelot". Domaine François Raveneau was founded in 1948 when François Raveneau combined his own vineyard purchases with parcels from his wife's Dauvissat family, becoming the first in his family to bottle wine under his own name rather than sell grapes to négociants. Today the eight-hectare domaine farms three Grand Cru vineyards and six Premier Crus across Chablis entirely by hand, vinifying with indigenous yeasts and aging in used feuillettes averaging seven to eight years old with no new oak. Chapelot is a south-facing lieu-dit within the Montée de Tonnerre Premier Cru, considered among the finest premier cru sites in Chablis.
