Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2023 Aubert "Park Avenue" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98TWI, 97VN, 97WS). The Wine Independent: "The 2023 Chardonnay Park Avenue charges out with vibrant notes of lemon tart, lime cordial, and nectarines, followed by touches of struck flint, brioche, honeysuckle, and chalk dust. The medium to full-bodied palate vibrates with energetic citrus and stone fruit flavors, supported by a racy line and a satiny texture, finishing long and satisfyingly savory. Gorgeous.Aubert bought this vineyard in 2013. It’s located right in between the Lauren and CIX vineyards. A neighbor who owned these 12 acres next to Lauren, previously planted with apples, passed away. There is a long road leading up to the vineyard, hence the name Park Avenue. This is mainly Hyde Clone with a little bit of Montrachet on 101-14 and 420A rootstocks. (LPB)" (11/2024)
