2001 Duckhorn "Patzimaro Vineyard - Auction Cuvee" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has explored Napa Valley’s diverse terroirs through Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Patzimaro Vineyard lies in western St. Helena at the base of Spring Mountain, giving this bottling a specific foothill setting. Its name honors the Mexican hometown of the Hurtado family, whose longstanding work in Duckhorn’s vineyards and cellar helped shape the winery.
