Clos de Vougeots is one of Burgundy's largest Grand Cru vineyards and as such represents a variety a soils, growers and-unfortunately-wines of varying quality. The top and best part of the vineyard borders Grands Echezeau and Le Musigny. This part of the Clos includes the two unofficial lieux-dits of Clos de Vougeots, one of which takes the name Musigni. It is from this prized site that Bernard Gros makes his spectacular wine. A rare gem!
