It is a beautifully long and linear Merlot-driven wine packed with energy and tension. Aromas and flavours of fleshy plums and crunchy black cherries are laced with purple florals, wild herbs nuanced by black olive. Featherweight tannins are expertly sculpted and balanced by a racy freshness on the long, drawn-out finish. (JC)
