Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Pommard, Baron de Curieres. Classic Pommard, with a bright cherry note on the nose, a supple entry, and definite firmer grip on the back palate. The bottle says it was bottled by C.G.B., viticulteur & recoltant in Meursault. It is a D.C. Flynt MW selection. But what matters is that the importer was getting rid of it at a most advantageous price, and that the wine inside is solid Burgundy from a very good vintage, imported when the dollar was much stronger.
