The 2013 Chardonnay Durell Vineyard comes across as a bit more closed than the McCrea. It will be interesting to see if the Durrell gains a little more flesh over time. Today, it is one of the leaner wines in the range, although there is plenty of energy and brightness in the citrus and floral notes that are front and center. (AG)
