From Alta Mesa Vineyard and Slide Hill, the 2022 Mourvèdre is 89% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, and the rest Viognier that saw 70% stems. It's a more savory, ripe, yet still sexy beauty with ripe red and black fruit, baking spices, leather, loamy soil, pepper, and sandalwood. Full-bodied, deep, rich, and concentrated, with ripe tannins and beautiful purity, it's a stunning Mourvèdre.
