Decanter: "The 2002 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet remains remarkably youthful, even at 22 years of age. Tasted alongside the 2002 Napa Valley Cabernet in September 2024, it impressed from the pull of the cork with its intensity and vibrancy. The luscious fruit, a hallmark of the warm vintage, is still present, while the tannins have seamlessly melted into the wine’s structure.
