Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Archery Summit "Premier Cuvee" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Vinous: "Medium red. Fresh raspberry, blackberry and Asian spice aromas convey ripeness and clarity. Sappy red and dark berry flavors offer good palate coverage and a bright note of orange peel. The spice character returns on the moderately long, sweet finish. Offers immediate, fruit-driven appeal and is more exotic and alluring than the '05 version. (JR)" (05/2008)

A discreetly perfumed nose of red and blue pinot fruit with violet, briar and warm earth undertones that are reflected by the rich, full and serious medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a dusty and firmly structured if slightly edgy finish.

A discreetly perfumed nose of red and blue pinot fruit with violet, briar and warm earth undertones that are reflected by the rich, full and serious medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a dusty and firmly structured if slightly edgy finish. This should be able to round out with a year or two in bottle though for now, a bit of youthful asperity dominates the finish.
