06/2026As with the 2024, the 2023 Pinot Noir Richardson Ranch is deeper in color and profile, with notes of kirsch, framboise, tea leaf, and incense. Medium-bodied, with more lift and verticality than the 2024, it has fine tannins and saline finesse. (AF)

08/2026The 2023 Pinot Noir Richardson Ranch opens with flinty wafts that slowly give way to pomegranate, blood orange, black tea leaves and damp earth. Medium-bodied, it floods the mouth with layers of spicy red fruit. It’s framed by silky tannins, and vibrant acidity lures you back for another sip on the long, nuanced finish. It will benefit from time in a decanter and should be long lived in the cellar. 459 cases were made. (EB)
