2011 Soda Canyon Cellars "Barrel Chaser" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend

Soda Canyon Cellars’ Barrel Chaser is a Napa Valley Bordeaux-style red blend associated with Beau Vigne, a winery founded in 2002 by Ed and Trish Snider. Originally drawing fruit from vineyards on Atlas Peak, Beau Vigne established its reputation for Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-inspired blends, working with notable winemakers including Dave Phinney, Kirk Venge, and Julien Fayard. The Barrel Chaser name recalls a reported incident during the 2005 vintage, when a wine barrel fell from a truck traveling up Atlas Peak, lending a memorable story to this Napa Valley label.
