2005 Château du Grand Pierre Merlot
Château du Grand Pierre is a Bordeaux wine label produced by the Chéty family in Cars, within the Blaye area on Bordeaux’s Right Bank. The family has cultivated vineyards on the hillsides of Cars since 1803, with brothers Olivier and Emmanuel Chéty now overseeing 40 hectares of certified-organic vines. The estate produces wines under the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, with Merlot playing an important role in the region’s traditional red wines.
