2001 Jean-Jacques Confuron Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts"

Moderately saturated dark red. Slightly reduced aromas of dark fruits, chocolate and roasted nuts. A step up in intensity of fruit and verve from Meunier's 2001 village wines, offering supple black raspberry flavor and substantial new oak. Finishes with ripe tannins and very good length.
