Bid on this bottle of 2019 Domaine Hudelot-Baillet Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Charmes" (94VN, (90-92BH)). Vinous: "The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru has a great deal of transparency, definition and focus on the nose, with dark berry fruit, autumn leaf, black pepper and pencil shavings. Despite the warmth of the growing season, this is classically-styled. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins that encase the layered and pure red fruit. Slightly more viscous in texture than its peers, there is an exotic trait toward the finish that might put some people off. This is a hearty, corpulent and fruit-forward Chambolle equipped with the substance to mature over many years. (NM)" (12/2023)
