The 2016 Bevan Cellars Wildfoote Vineyard 'Vixen Block' is a drop-dead stunning Cabernet Sauvignon, which delivers on every level. This utterly captivating wine instantly begins to seduce with absolutely intoxicating aromatics of ripe red and dark currants laced with spiced plums, exotic sweet spices, graphite and violets underlined by dusty minerals and hints of loam that are impossible to resist. On the palate this is equally impressive, as it possesses a full body with a gorgeous velvety texture and a wonderful inner-sweetness, along with outstanding depth and concentration. It continues to amaze as it demonstrates outstanding overall power and intensity, yet incredible purity, class and complexity through the ultra-long, supple finish. This Cabernet has it all, and while it is already impossible to resist it also has the potential to evolve and have a brilliant future for years to come.
