03/2002Top-class California Pinot from the best barrels to come Clendenen's way - including one or two from Mendocino to supplement his usual Central Coast operations base. Fine, dry (as opposed to sweet) sleek-textured, utterly correct but with no sacrifice of pleasure. Hold if you can. 18/20 points
