Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Arista "Perli Vineyard" Mendocino Ridge Chardonnay (93DC). Decanter: "Citrus peel, lemon curd, and apricot cream hint at creme brûlée notes on this full supple and round Chardonnay with confected toasted marshmallows and ginger cream layered with exotic brown spices and a lengthy toasty oak finish. It’s a rich and fuller expression of the Mendocino Ridge AVA, which seems more possible from Perli Vineyard than many other sites in the region. It pushes the envelope of ripeness while clocking in at a modest 13.6 and remains fresh, intriguing, and a wonderful sipper. (JC)" (12/2023)
