Izidro Gonsalves "Q" Seco Madeira
Founded in 1870 and based in Funchal, A. Izidro Gonçalves was one of Madeira’s old-line wine merchants. The firm built its reputation exporting Madeira wines and earned recognition at international exhibitions before eventually becoming part of Companhia Vinícola da Madeira. The “Q” Seco Madeira is a dry-style Madeira from this historic house. Today, bottles carrying the Izidro Gonçalves name are rarely seen, making them interesting survivors from a once-prominent Madeira producer.
