Near Lammershoek. Rosa Kruger’s sparkling-wine-producer friend supplies some of these grapes. Very long ferment gives flinty salty character. Had to work the vineyard well to get more nitrogen in order to ferment dry. ‘The only one of our wines with technically a good acidity’, says Chris M. Very distinctive. Racy and sculpted. Should age well. Great natural acidity. Muscular. (JR)
