Bid on this bottle of 2006 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend. If Isosceles is the elite expression of the Justin estate vineyards, then the Isosceles Reserve is the absolute cream of the crop. Notes from the producer's website: "The highest expression of Justin Vineyards & Winery is our Isosceles Reserve. Sourced entirely from our home estate vineyard planted in 1981 this wine reflects the pinnacle of our efforts. Vines planted on native root stock, in nutrient depleted soils, dry farmed and hand harvested produce tiny yields that are big on flavor. Painstaking efforts by our vineyard and winemaking team including hand sorting, cold soaking open top fermentation, extended maceration and aging in 100% new French oak barrels for up to 25 months produce rewards that both you and the critics appreciate."

Justin's Isosceles blend has been a benchmark Paso Robles wine for three decades, and the Reserve cuvée takes all the outstanding features that determine the regular cuvée and whittles them down to an even more rigorous barrel selection.
