Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2020 Domaine Buisson-Charles Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru “Les Louves” ((90-93BH)), a new Premier Cru red from the classic, old-vine Meursault domaine run by Catherine Buisson and Patrick Essa. Les Louves is an even blend of two Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Crus, Les Millandes and La Riotte. From the ripe, concentrated 2020 vintage, it offers poached plum, dark berries and black cherry layered with rose petal, sweet spice and pungent, earthy depth. The medium-bodied palate is energetic and finely detailed, with a seductive, silky texture and a youthfully firm finish that rewards cellaring. A rare Côte de Nuits bottling from a Burgundy insider’s favorite, ideal for collectors of Morey-Saint-Denis and classic red Burgundy.

2020 Domaine Buisson-Charles Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru "Les Louves"
Based in Meursault, Domaine Buisson-Charles combines the Buisson family’s vineyard heritage with the winemaking of Patrick and Louis Essa. Its Morey-Saint-Denis premier cru cuvée, Les Louves, was introduced in 2020 with fruit from Les Millandes and La Riotte, bringing two distinct Côte de Nuits sites together. The name honors the women of Morey-Saint-Denis, connecting this Pinot Noir to the village as well as its vineyards.
