Bid on this magnum of 2014 Darioush "Signature" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (94CG, 93WE). Connoisseurs Guide: "Here is a big, bold Cabernet that fits the winery model to a "tee, " and, as usual, Darioush manages to successfully pull off the trick in going right to the brink of being too much of a good thing without going too far. It is not a wine of subtlety and detail as much as it is one of unbridled richness and depth, but it is, at every stop, a fully expressed varietal working that will never be accused of playing it safe. It is high in tannin, yet it is not unduly coarse and is governed by intense, generously oaked, very sure curranty fruit right to the end, and it will take to age famously. Allow for at least five years of waiting here, and anticipate that it will improve for ten or more. *Two Stars*" (08/2017)
