Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Corliss Columbia Valley Syrah in original wood, from the acclaimed Walla Walla estate founded by Michael and Lauri Corliss, which debuted with the 2003 vintage and makes each of its wines in quantities of 500 cases or fewer, with consulting from star Napa winemaker Philippe Melka. Sourced from the Stillwater Creek vineyard, co-fermented with a touch of Viognier and aged 30 months in nearly two-thirds new French barriques, the 2007 is a rich, opulent Washington Syrah. Expect black fig, plum, tar and cassis layered with exotic spices, dried cherry, violet and jasmine, with a plush, full-bodied palate and a long, polished finish. A collectible case from one of Washington’s most sought-after boutique producers, now in a beautiful drinking window.
