Foyt IV and Larry Foyt in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, as a tribute to the racing career of A.J. Foyt Jr., four-time Indianapolis 500 winner and Associated Press Driver of the Century. Each wine in the lineup is labeled with a number or year significant to A.J. Foyt's career. The winery produces small lots of 200 cases or fewer per wine, sourcing grapes from select vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties. Winemakers Nicholas Hess, Tom Meadowcroft, and Petar Kirilov craft the wines using minimal new oak, low-temperature fermentation, and small tanks with temperature-controlled barrel aging.
