Vinous
06/2010Bright red. More pungent than the La Pommeraie, offering black raspberry and cherry aromas complemented by musky sassafras and cola. Dusty tannins add grip to the sweet cherry and floral flavors but are quickly absorbed by the fruit. The finish repeats the cherry and floral qualities and lingers with good intensity and gentle grip. (JR)

Wine Enthusiast
12/2010This is a good, solid Pinot Noir, a little rustic and direct, but offering lots of drinking pleasure. It's dry and silky, with rich black cherry, raspberry, cola and sandalwood flavors.
