1970 Giovanni Pippione Barbaresco
BArbaresco is made with Nebbiolo, a thinner-skinned, small fruit generally high in tannins and acid. Nebbiolo is one of the first varietals to undergo budbreak in Piedmont, with harvest then generally taking place late in October, making the grapes some of the last to be picked.
