Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Domaine de la Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des 60 Ouvrées" ((89-92BH)). Burghound: "The expressive and elegant nose is spicier if not quite as ripe with its mix of both red and dark currants along with a pretty floral top note. The racy, intense and strikingly detailed middle weight flavors exude evident minerality on the raspy and slightly warm but impressively long finale. This will need to add more depth though my projected range assumes that will occur." (04/2020)

90-93 points Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: "The first sample, served blind in the pairing of Clos des 60 Ouvrées. Fractionally the darker colour. Here again the evolution is slightly more evident. Full bodied, perhaps with a touch of dustiness on the nose, good acidity, same ripe plums, not quite the length." (12/2019)
