Rochioli's 2014 Chardonnay Rachael's Vineyard is powerful and intense, but also not fully put together yet. Tropical fruit, apricot jam, orange peel, butter and wild flowers give the wine much of its bold personality. With time in the glass, the Rachael's gains freshness and becomes a bit more gracious. My impression is that the elements haven't quite fused together just yet, so readers should be prepared to wait a year or two before opening bottles. (AG) 92+
