Bid on this bottle of 2001 Querciabella Camartina (3GR). This is a blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon, just about 50% 50% with tiny additions of merlot and syrah for added complexity, aged separately in barrique and once again in barrique after blending. And we are talking, of course, about 100% French (Allier, Nevers and Troncais), of with 80% is new each year. Camartina is made and released only if the vintage reaches a very good quality level (there was none produced in 1989, 1992 or 1998) A dead ringer for a fine St-Julien, this tremendous wine is a must for the Super Tuscan fanatic! 3 Glasses Gambero Rosso
