2016 Reverie II "Special Reserve" Atlas Peak Bordeaux Blend

Reverie II is the continuation of a Napa Valley project that began in the 1990s and entered a new chapter when Grant and Megan Long acquired the brand and established it on a 26-acre hillside estate at the base of Howell Mountain near St. Helena. The winery focuses on limited-production, single-vineyard wines, with mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Special Reserve bottlings forming the core of the portfolio. In addition to its Bordeaux varieties, Reverie II works with less common Napa plantings such as Barbera and Tempranillo. Production remains small, and the wines are sold primarily through the winery’s allocation program rather than broad distribution.
