2015 Domaine Roulot Meursault "A Mon Plaisir - Clos du Haut Tesson"

There is notably more volume if a bit less refinement to the rich and full-bodied flavors that coat the palate with sap while delivering outstanding depth and length on the sleek and balanced finish that really fans out. The 2015 Tessons from Domaine Roulot is really a stylish and vibrant example of the vintage. The bouquet is pure, complex and lifted, offering up scents of lime zest, chalky minerality, sweet grapefruit, chalky minerality, hazelnuts, vanillin oak and iodine. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and transparent, with a fine core, zesty acids and lovely mineral drive on the long and energetic finish. This is really a lovely bottle of wine and so impressive for its freshness in the context of 2015! 92+
