Of the 2001 Jericho Canyon Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend, Wine Advocate writes: "An intriguing blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 19% Cabernet Franc, the opaque plum-colored 2001 Proprietary Red Wine reveals a smoky, earthy nose with lots of black currant, licorice and wood smoke-like scents. Robust flavors of cherry, black olive and oak are laced with an underlying hint of "Rutherford Dust," which is characteristic of this wonderful wine, especially from great great vintages such as 2001!
