Bid on this bottle of Barton Distillery 1792 "Bottled in Bond" K&L Exclusive Barrel #263 Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. This lot of two Barton barrels was distilled on October 14th of 2016 and bottled in late February 2025. At nearly 9 years old these Barton barrels show really well and offer a huge value compared to many other 9 year barrel picks. We liked this batch so much we decided to bottle two at competing proofs. Both barrel 267 and 263 were barreled on the same day, but each bottled at different proofs. This barrel was bottled in bond at 100 proof, while the other was cut to traditional 125 proof. The result is one of fabulous experiment in the effects of proofing on flavor. Each has its benefits, but if you're after a nuanced and tantalizing experience, the BIB is the move.
