Of the 2003 Taylor's Vintage Port, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Inky purple in color, this youngest Taylor vintage Port boasts a floral, wonderfully open and appealing bouquet, backed by layers of rich fruit. What makes this wine extra special is the seductive texture—somewhere between creamy and syrupy—and ample length. (JC)" (02/2007)

1993 Beringer Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Port
From one of Napa Valley's oldest wineries, this is a fortified Cabernet Sauvignon made in a Port style. Now fully mature, it is a testament to Napa Valley's dessert wine tradition and an excellent pairing for chocolate or fruit laden desserts.

2010 Ravenswood "Suite" Sonoma County Zinfandel Dessert Wine (375ml)
Ravenswood’s“Suite” Zinfandel Dessert Wine is one of the more unusual bottlings in the winery’s history. Founded by Joel Peterson in Sonoma in 1976, Ravenswood built its reputation on vineyard-designated Zinfandel and helped cement the grape’s status as California’s signature variety. While best known for dry reds, the winery occasionally explored alternative expressions of Zinfandel, including the fortified-style “Suite.” Produced from Zinfandel grown in Sonoma County and finished as a dessert wine, “Suite” was made in a rich, sweet style with elevated alcohol, more akin to a port-inspired interpretation than a traditional table wine. Bottlings were released in limited quantities, and the wine remains a rarity in the secondary market today. The project reflected Peterson’s long-standing interest in showcasing Zinfandel’s versatility beyond the dry red wines that made Ravenswood famous.
