Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2023 Hofgut Falkenstein Krettnacher Euchariusberg Riesling Kabinett Alte Reben "Gisela" #8. Stephan Reinhardt of Wine Advocate writes: ... It is more than 10 times smaller, but it certainly produces 25 wines per vintage—although, the master winemakers themselves don't know for sure. Why should they? Everything they produce is snatched up, including Pet-Nat, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir without malolactic fermentation. When I visited in August, there wasn't that much left to taste. Johannes carried just two cool boxes to the table outside in the garden, while his father, Erich, was still working in the vines and only joined after a while...The Webers approach their harvests rationally. Of course, they make selections, but they don't take it too seriously. After all, they don't strive for perfection, but for enjoyable wines."

Stephan Reinhardt of Wine Advocate writes: "Is Jesus involved here? You would hardly blame him. But anyone who says that Markus Molitor, with his 100 wines per vintage, is too confusing to ever understand has not yet tasted at Hofgut Falkenstein.
