Yeasty fermentative notes largely give way to scents of honeysuckle and lily-of-the-valley, along with anticipations of ripe apple and wet stone. All of these elements reunite on a palate of utmost delicacy and refreshment, yet also of subtle creaminess. A hint of salinity stimulates the salivary glands in a lusciously lingering finishing interaction of fruit, flowers and stone. Some 50 grams of residual sugar are supportive yet amazingly discreet in impact. (DS)
