Kloster Eberbach is one of the Rheingau’s great historic estates, with centuries of Riesling tradition and extensive holdings in many of the region’s most important vineyards. Rauenthaler Baiken is a steep, elevated site above the Rhine, where stony phyllite- and slate-influenced soils and a relatively cool mesoclimate give Riesling notable tension, precision, and longevity.
