“The 2008 Potensac may well be the finest wine I have ever tasted from this estate. The bouquet is deep, very vibrant and utterly classical in profile, as it soars from the glass in a complex mélange of pure black cherries, cassis, cigar smoke, gravelly soil tones, espresso and cedar. On the palate the wine is fullish, deep and very intensely flavored, with a lovely sense of reserve, a superb core, beautiful balance, ripe tannins and outstanding length and grip on the focused and absolutely pure finish.
