Potent, smoke-tinged red and dark berry, olive and licorice qualities on the sharply focused nose. Penetrating, spice-laced cherry-cola, blackberry and exotic spice flavors steadily deepen and become sweeter with air. John Livingstone Learmonth The Cradle of the Rhone: "(assembled yesterday, bottling June 2022) dark red; has a well tuned black berry aroma, lead pencil with a hint of rose hip, good precision. The palate serves a slinky appeal via its very clear fruit, with freshness all along, the fruit well defined, gathers accumulated powdered tannins that speak well of its noble terroir. It’s interesting and true, has a very good linear shape for now, all to come." (05/2022)
