From the Rutherford estate founded by Tony and Herta Peju in the early 1980s, this Winemaker's Select bottling sits in Peju's Cabernet-focused Napa Valley lineup. The 2022 growing season was shaped by drought conditions and a September heat spike, making producer selection and cellar discipline especially important for Napa Cabernet.

The ripe tannins are firm yet possess a supple core, supporting black cherry, fig jam, and graphite minerality layers on a lengthy, resonant finish.
