By focusing on old vine vineyards in particular, Turley aims to both create and preserve California’s unique winemaking culture. All of the vineyards are either certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers or somewhere in the process, and they use all natural yeasts in the fermentations.

“The 2020 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard screams with character. Bright acids and intense Zinfandel fruit give the Dogtown its decidedly vibrant, exuberant personality. Rose petal, lavender, mint, sweet spice and licorice all run through this super-expressive, inviting Zinfandel from Turley. There is real depth and density here. The 2020 is terrific. (AG)” (01/2022)
