“An elegant and attractively floral suffused nose flashes good Chablis typicity with its notes of petrol, pear and ocean breeze. There is fine vibrancy to the sleek and refined medium weight flavors that offer both good minerality and salinity on the lingering, balanced, clean and appealingly dry finish. This is really quite lovely and while this could certainly be enjoyed now, for my taste I would continue to hold it for another 3 to 5 years.” (07/2023)

“Vaillons is a Left Bank premier cru and the frost damage on this side of the river was far less, so I have to imagine that this is one of the star premier crus in the cellar at Domaine Fèvre in 2017, but as the wine was just filtered, I have again scored it in a range. The nose here has first class components, with scents of pear, apple, lemon zest, a touch of beeswax, lovely, limestone minerality and white flowers all wafting from the glass. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and rock solid at the core, with vibrant acidity, excellent focus and grip and a very long, promising finish. My score could well end up being a tad conservative!” (12/2018)

On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and expressive, with an open-knit, satiny-textured core, tangy acids and a precise, mouthwatering finish.
