From one of Calistoga’s historic sites, Palisades Vineyard has long been associated with Petite Sirah and other old-vine varieties planted near the northern end of Napa Valley. Robert Biale’s bottling fits the winery’s long-running focus on heritage California reds, especially Zinfandel and Petite Sirah from distinctive vineyard sources.
