NV Fallet-Dart "Éocène" Extra Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of Fallet-Dart "Éocène" Extra Brut Champagne. This Champagne is made from one of the very best vineyard sites in all of the Marne Valley, the Clos du Mont in the hamlet of Drachy. It is a barrel fermented blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir and is all 2009 vintage, although not labeled as such. It is dosed low at 2 grams per liter of sugar, and is very dry without being harsh due to the ripeness of the vintage and the more than 10 years of ageing. (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne Buyer)
