“Memorious from Domaine de La Cote is a beauty in 2018. The vineyard site is located above the Santa Ynez River, just beneath Blooms Field vineyard. As it begins to unwind it is simply gorgeous, displaying aromas of fresh ripe strawberries, raspberries and dark cherry, woven together with spices, savory herbs, sea spray, black pepper, hints of citrus, wild flowers and earth which are completely captivating and burst out of the glass. On the palate this is just as impressive, as it possesses a gorgeous sleek, silky texture with beautiful soft, round tannins, and remarkable overall balance and depth. It glides effortlessly across the palate with flavors of red berries, sour cherries, spices and fresh minerality that flow into the long, totally seamless finish.
