Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills Pinot Noir (96IWR, 96JD, 94JS, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2021 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills is ripe with ripe black cherry, fresh licorice, and dark stone. Lush and inviting, with ripe structure and broad shoulders, it is flush with a ripe, meaty texture and warming spice. Allow it another couple of years in the cellar. This is an age-worthy wine to drink 2025-2037." Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2021 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills is ripe with ripe black cherry, fresh licorice, and dark stone. A classic, fresh Pinot Noir from the Oregon offshoot of the Burgundy stalwart. Domaine Drouhin was one of the first Burgundy estates to branch out into Oregon's Willamette Valley, and their wines show the depth and finesse that only comes when a winemaker really knows the terroir. A stellar value.

Int'l Wine Review

The 2021 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir from Domain Drouhin is a stunning wine that sports a glistening medium ruby core with a bluish rim. Boasting notes of crushed black cherry, wild herbs, blue plum skin, candied violet petals, crushed rose, and hints of wet earth. Perfectly balanced, with silky smooth sweet tannins and ideal levels of acidity, I adored the salty, spice, and red-fruit characteristics I get on the mid-palate. Enjoy this one now or over the next 10 years. Highly recommended. (12/2023)

James Suckling

Fragrant and open pinot with aromas of cherries, wild strawberries, orange zest, nutmeg and white pepper. It’s medium-bodied with silky, creamy tannins. Delicious balance of just-ripe berry fruit and subtle spice. Very long, too. Drink or hold. (03/2023)

Wine Spectator

Graceful and fragrant, with delicately layered cherry and raspberry flavors laced with rose petal, dusky spices and a hint of fresh forest floor. Ends with refined tannins. Drink now through 2030. (03/2023)
