Cult winemaker Laurent Vaillé trained under a who's who Europe's most-acclaimed winemakers--Jean-François Coche-Dury, Gérard Chave and Eloi Durrbach. He settled in l’Hérault in 1989, dyanamiting and bulldozing limestone, boulders and glacial scree to plant vineyards with cuttings of Syrah, Roussanne and Marsanne from Gérard Chave and Cabernet from Domaine Trévallon. The combination of exceptional vineyards and fruit makes for wines of power AND restraint.
